Pamela Flynn | Director
I am a solicitor with over 25 years of experience exclusively in the area of employment and industrial law.
I am passionate about employment and industrial relations and providing quality legal advice and excellent client service. I have an eye for detail and enjoy helping clients navigate their obligations and manage workplace issues.
I focus on providing personalised and strategic advice tailored to my clients’ business and operational needs. I am experienced in advising on complex human resources and industrial relations issues in the workplace, as well as in responding to employment claims and disputes.
I have advised on employment and industrial relations since I was admitted as a solicitor in mid-December 1998. In my early years as a solicitor, I was trained and mentored by Accredited Specialists in Employment & Industrial Law. I obtained my accreditation from the NSW Law Society as an Accredited Specialist in Employment & Industrial Law in 2003. To find out the benefit in obtaining advice from an Accredited Specialist, read “Why Seek Advice from an Accredited Specialist in Employment & Industrial Law.”
My background in mid-tier commercial law firms, including as a partner, means that I am committed to providing commercial legal advice. I am also committed to providing a high-quality service.
I have always been interested in the intersection between people and the law. Majoring in psychology as part of my combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws undergraduate degrees has proved invaluable in understanding and responding to the ever-changing demands of employment law, including the growing focus on psychosocial risks in the workplace.
When advising, I always put myself in my client’s shoes. I offer clear, practical support and guidance. I am decisive, and I do not sit on the fence.
I genuinely enjoy problem-solving workplace issues, and I welcome the opportunity to partner with businesses and entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries, including retail, manufacturing, insurance, health and allied services, education and professional services.
What matters most to me is delivering clear, strategic advice that empowers my clients to move forward with confidence.
I understand that most HR and IR challenges in the workplace do not occur in a vacuum, and that deciding what path to take can be challenging. I take the time to listen to your concerns and understand the workplace dynamics at play. With many years of experience and a down-to-earth approach, I arm you with sound advice and practical solutions consistent with your legal obligations.
