Having practised in leading mid-tier commercial law firms, Henry Davis York (before it merged with Norton Rose Fulbright), and Cutler Hughes & Harris (before it merged with Thomson Playford), including as a partner, I understand that effective legal advice must do more than identify legal issues. It must also support business objectives, minimise disruption and provide practical pathways forward.

I have always been interested in the intersection between people and the law. As part of my combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees, I majored in psychology, which has provided valuable insight into workplace behaviour, decision-making and organisational dynamics.
This background has proven particularly valuable as employment law continues to evolve, including the increasing focus on psychosocial hazards, psychological safety, and broader workplace wellbeing obligations.
